On Thursday, August 31st, the “Love Story” singer announced that she will be bringing her massively popular Eras Tour to the big screen starting on Friday, October 13th. Although some may consider it unlucky to release a film on Friday the 13th. , Swifties know that 13 has always been a favorite number of the singer, who has even performed with the digit painted on the back of her hand.
“Eras Tour has been the most electric experience of my life so far and I am very happy to tell you that it will be coming to the big screen soon,” he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Starting Oct 13th you will be able to experience the concert film in theaters in North America! Tickets are on sale now.” He added, “Period clothing, friendship bracelets, singing and dancing promote 1, 2, 3 LGB!!!! (iykyk).”
While Taylor has directed many of her past music videos and the short film “All Too Well”, The Eras Tour film was directed by Sam Wrench.

As of now, there are no announced plans to release the film internationally. Beginning on October 13, the film will hit North American theaters. It is unclear if there are any plans to release the film on any streaming service or if there are any plans to distribute the film via video on demand.
According to Pop Base, The Eras Tour movie will retail for $19.89 for adults and $13.13 for children. “13” is the singer’s favorite number, but “1989” is also the name of her fifth studio album, which was released on October 27, 2014. “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” will be released on October 27, about two weeks after the film opens on cinema.

Many fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, on Wednesday morning to show screenshots of themselves waiting in line to pick up their tickets from AMC Theatres. According to Pop Base, the movie theater chain will offer Eras-themed popcorn tubs and cups specially themed to the concert film.
Large popcorn, which comes in popcorn tubs, is expected to sell for $14.99 plus tax, while collectible cups and large fountain drinks are expected to sell for $11.99. They warn that the items are only available while supplies last.
In addition, the “You Belong With Me” singer has also placed selected tour merchandise on her website. A black hoodie featuring the dates of the US tour retails for $75, while a beige T-shirt retails for $45. Also available for purchase are vinyl, CD and cassette tapes of “1989 (Taylor’s Version)”, as well as its digital album.

Earlier this month, the “Delicate” singer announced the release of “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” along with new album artwork. “Surprise!! 1989 (Taylor Version) is on its way to you! The 1989 album changed my life in many ways, and it fills me with excitement to announce that my version will be out on October 27,” he wrote at the time.
“Honestly, this is my FAVORITE re-recording I’ve ever done because track 5 From The Vault is so crazy,” he continued. “I can’t believe they were ever abandoned. But not for long!”
