More than a year after the tragic passing of the late Bob Saget, his wife, Kelly Rizzo, made the difficult decision to sell their home, despite the fond memories they shared.

The grieving TV host recently made an appearance on the “Tamron Hall Show,” where she discussed her reasons for putting her and her late partner’s home on the market.
She explained that as part of moving forward and taking “gradual steps,” the “home situation” felt strange, given Saget’s continued presence in her life.
“If you go into my new house,” he said, “I mean, there’s pictures of him everywhere. I’d say it’s like a shame about Bob’s museum, but you know he’s still everywhere.”
Rizzo, who continues to look at videos and photos of the deceased, revealed that he learned new things about grief that influenced his decision to sell their home.
She shared, “Recently I’ve learned about sadness that something about the home you share can sometimes be very triggering and can be even if you have good memories there, even if it’s a very positive experience, which it is. “
The on-screen star added that Saget loved their home and that it was a “positive memory.” However, he realizes that every time someone passes by, the house itself can become a “situation.”

When asked about her new home, she said it was “very cheerful and bright” while also showing a picture of her and her late husband placed on the counter.

Before selling the house, Rizzo marked the first anniversary of Saget’s death with a heartfelt message written exclusively for the publication that read in part:
“Every day is a mix of remembering him as my sweet and adorable husband who was my best friend and did everything he could every day to make me feel loved and special.”
He continued, “Mixed with me remembering him as how the world saw him. A great comedian, someone who could bring out the best in people, and a man with a generous heart who just wanted to help people.”
The television star further admitted that he misses the late man’s “sweetness and cuteness” and wants everyone to remember him as a truly “great” man.

Not only did Rizzo honor his memory with an exclusive tribute, but he also shared another one on Instagram. In a long tribute, she began, “One year. Our hearts are so heavy. How could I not speak to or see my beloved husband for a whole year? Real nature never ebbs.”
The social media personality later wrote that she accepted reality a long time ago, but it still doesn’t seem real when she sees pictures or videos of Saget being so “full of life.”
However, the thought of being “most fortunate” to live with her lover’s “warmth, laughter, brilliance, and love”, as well as watching her make the world a better place, makes each day bearable, which she will be forever grateful for .
