The former Finnish prime minister who went viral last year in a provocative dance video is writing a book and shopping for a publisher, Finnish media reported.
Sanna Marin, who became the youngest prime minister in Finnish history at age 34, is working on a book titled “Our Turn: Fearless Leadership for a New Generation,” according to sources who spoke to Finnish outlet Ilta-Sanomat.
The outlet said sources confirmed that William Morris Endeavour, an American talent agency, is trading rights to the book and that bidding for international rights is likely underway.
The report comes after Marin signed a deal with American management and production company Range Media Partners to help him navigate potential media opportunities, ranging across platforms from TV, film and brand partnerships.
Marin gained international attention last year when videos showed him partying, dancing in clubs and drinking.
“I danced, sang, and partied – totally legal stuff. And I’ve never been in a situation where I’ve seen or known other people [using drugs],” he said after the video went viral online.

Critics said the behavior was unbecoming of a prime minister, but Marin countered that his partying was normal behavior for most people in their 30s.
“I have a family life, I have a work life, and I have free time to spend with my friends – pretty much the same as many people my age,” he said at the time, as reported by the BBC.
The former youth leader of Finland is a member of the centrist Finnish Social Democratic Party and served as prime minister from 2019 until June this year when he lost a re-election bid.

He led Finland through the coronavirus outbreak as well as when Russia first invaded Ukraine in February 2022.
He has left parliament but has repeatedly appeared in the public eye, including when he attended Paris Fashion Week last month and when he delivered a speech at a UCLA lecture on “conditions for peace” for the university’s Center for European and Russian Studies.
Ilta-Sanomat reports that the upcoming book is not finished and there is no information on the release date.
Fox News Digital reached out to The Harry Walker Agency, a division of William Morris Endeavor, for comment on the book deal but did not immediately hear back.
