A former male model, who appeared in the music video for Aerosmith’s 1994 hit “Crazy,” was arrested and charged with attempted rape earlier this week, having met the woman through a dating app, according to reports.
Dean Kelly, 52, was arrested by police and charged with third-degree attempted rape and sexual battery charges stemming from an incident from October, the New Orleans Police Department announced Thursday.
Kelly rose to fame for his cameo in the band’s music video in which he played a shirtless young farmer tilling farmland in a tractor, co-starring with actress Alicia Silverstone and singer Steven Tyler’s daughter Liv.
A woman claims in court documents obtained by WDSU that she met Kelly through a dating app and claims he used a fake name and didn’t look like his photo before he allegedly assaulted her.
The former model-turned-predator is being held at the Orleans Parish Justice Center on $1.1 million bond and also received charges of failure to register as a sex offender and failure to notify a sex offender, according to jail records.
The arrest is the latest in a string of legal troubles for Kelly as he has faced several other similar arrests over the past decade.

He was later sentenced to prison when a New Orleans judge ruled Kelly violated the terms of his probation, including not using an alias on social media and having to register all the phones he used, the outlet reported at the time.
Kelly has also been accused of raping a 14- and 17-year-old girl in two separate incidents in 2005, according to NOLA.com.
