“It is a sad but hopeful time, and we will all get through it together. Mom always told me, ‘hard times don’t last,’ and our last conversation about hard times being temporary was my beacon of hope,” Nick wrote in his follow-up post after they learned of his mother’s death. “Mom, thank you for being strong, loving, hardworking, luxurious, funny, and for saving my art. I will never let you down. My brother Sergio is still missing. If anyone knows where he is, I want him to know that I love you and please go home.”

“Fake news, fake news,” he began saying in a video post to social media. “It must have been the FBI that came to my house the day Bob Marley died. With haze and gas 511 — unnatural. They kidnapped me twice from my house. Maywood, Sick Police Department… it must be the FBI or the Maywood Police.”

“I thought my mom was on vacation. That’s fucking fake news. He is retired. And you want to come to me? The FBI had to do it, they got the power to do that kind of thing. What is happening? That’s fake news.”

The video was actually posted to an account called “intplayerwithapassport” and not Brown’s official Instagram account.

Sources close to The Shaderoom news site stated that the former footballer may be somewhere in Mexico. The outlet also noted that he may be “suffering from some mental health issues.”
