‘Ex’ of Uvalde mass shooter busted for repeatedly threatening community, victims’ families: feds

A teenager who claimed to be the girlfriend of the Uvalde mass shooter was arrested Wednesday for threatening massacre victims and a grieving community for half a year.

Victoria Gabriela Rodríguez-Morales, 19, of Puerto Rico was slapped with 13 counts of making interstate threats through social media sites and emails with names like “SchoolShooter” and “Killer22,” the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Puerto Rico said.

“Salvador and I wanted to do this together but he didn’t wait for me to come,” she wrote in an Instagram message in June.

“However, more children will die and teenagers so don’t cry about this because worse is to come.”

The teenager allegedly started spewing hatred years before her self-proclaimed boyfriend Salvatore Ramos killed 21 people, including 19 children inside Robb Elementary School, on May 24, 2022.

He was investigated and went through juvenile proceedings in 2018 for making threats against Uvalde residents, officers and facilities, a crazy hobby he continued while in juvenile detention, according to a criminal complaint.

Salvador Ramos slaughtered 21 people, including 19 children, inside Robb Elementary School, on May 24, 2022.

Rodríguez-Morales and his family moved to Puerto Rico after his release in 2020, where he is accused of continuing his taunts.

Threats escalated after the massacre, in which Rodríguez-Morales described Ramos’ victims as “all lost souls … I pray they burn in hell,” according to an arrest affidavit.

“I told Pete Arredondo last week after the massacre happened, I told him that I’m going to send somebody to do it for me So you guys get what you guys deserve And there’s more to come So don’t get ready,” he told a reporter via Instagram in April 2023.

The teenager repeatedly referred to Ramos – who was shot dead by police – as his “ex” and said he planned to continue killing innocent Texans in his memory.

“I will haunt everyone from the class of 2022 to 2023 Each of you will die in the name of Salvador … But the fact that more blood will flow through my hands, it excites me,” Rodríguez-Morales allegedly wrote, adding that his life was dedicated to kill

Rodríguez-Morales was indiscriminate in his threats — targeting schools, hospitals, law enforcement and victims’ families.

In the Oct. 25 email, he allegedly threatened Kimberly Mata-Rubio, who has lost her daughter in an elementary school shooting and is running for mayor of Uvalde.

“If Mata Rubio wins the election I will kill him,” wrote Rodríguez-Morales.

At least one of Rodríguez-Morales’ alleged threats resulted in the temporary closure of a school in Texas.

He relentlessly sent the threats until October, when investigators traced multiple social media accounts and email addresses to Rodríguez-Morale.

He could face up to five years in prison on each of the 13 charges.
