Hudson Madsen, the son of American actor Michael Madsen, has reportedly died at the age of 26 on the island of Oahu. His cause of death was reported to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound in a suspected suicide, but officials have not confirmed when the accident occurred.
A spokesperson for the Medical Examiner’s Department in Honolulu told The Sun, “I can confirm Hudson Lee Madsen, 26, died of a gunshot wound to the head in a suspected suicide on the island of Oahu.”
He has gained fame as the godchild of American director Quentin Tarantino whose father worked on the hit films “Kill Bill Vol.1” and “Kill Bill Vol. 2”.

Hudson lives with his wife Carlie Madsen in Wahiawa, Hawaii. Carlie is the daughter of Allen O’Malley, the daughter of Roger W. O’Malley and Mavis Ely.
Carlie lost her grandfather at the age of 82 on November 23, 2018. He was baptized as an adult in Japan, while in the United States Navy. He received his education in Le Center, Minnesota, and was a graduate of Le Center High School Class of 1954.
Roger entered active military service in the United States Navy on May 3, 1954, in Mankato, Minnesota, and served in Japan. Roger received his Honorable Discharge on February 6, 1957, in the United States Navy in Japan and attained the rank of Communications Technician Petty Officer 2nd Class (CT2). After separating from the Navy, he returned to Minnesota.
Roger was employed in the Quality Control Department at 3M in Hutchinson until his retirement in June 1995. Roger was a member of the Dassel Church of Christ in Dassel, Minnesota.
His grandparents were married on September 28, 1957 and also have two daughters (aunt Carlie) Connie Bjork and Molly Markgraf who live in Hutchinson, MN, and Stewart, MN respectively. He is one of his parents’ seven grandchildren.
