‘Extreme Weight Loss’ Star Brandi Mallory’s Cause Of Death Revealed

Brandi Mallory’s cause of death has been revealed almost a month after her heartbreaking death.

According to documents obtained by The Blast, the “Extreme Weight Loss” star’s obese body weight contributed largely to his death. Mallory was found unconscious in a mall parking lot in Atlanta on November 9.

According to Mallory’s official autopsy report, the late reality star died of “Complications of Obesity.” The Fulton County Medical Examiner classified his manner of death as “natural.”

According to the report, Mallory weighed 385 pounds and was 71″ at the time of her death with a body mass index of 53.7 kg/m2. He also has “Cardiomegaly,” which refers to an enlarged heart, with biventricular dilatation. His heart weighs 500 grams.

The late star also had elevated hemoglobin A1c levels which suggested she had prediabetes. A toxicology report revealed that Mallory had marijuana and 0.056% alcohol in her system at the time, but that the substance did not play a role in her death.

As previously reported, the “Extreme Weight Loss” star’s death occurred under highly mysterious circumstances but her autopsy has shed some light on what happened that fateful day.

As we were covering it, the 40-year-old man was found dead in his vehicle after he bought what would be his last meal. According to a police report obtained, Mallory’s last moments occurred around dinnertime when she drove to a mall in Atlanta to get food.

After parking his car, he stopped to buy food from the local Chipotle. Surveillance footage in the area shows him arriving at the parking lot at 5:53 p.m. and buying food from the restaurant. He returned to his vehicle at 6:01pm but never got out again.

According to the report, the owner of a local Mccallister’s Deli found the vehicle in the parking lot around 6 a.m. on Nov. 9 “with a woman in the driver’s seat who appeared to be asleep.” He didn’t initially suspect anything was wrong until several hours later when he noticed the woman in the car “didn’t appear alert, conscious or breathing.”

Alarmed eyewitnesses then proceeded to call 911, and responding authorities pronounced Mallory dead at 8:55 a.m. when they arrived on the scene. Initial reports asserted that there was no evidence of foul play at this time, which was confirmed by the medical examiner.

Brandi Mallory Was Inspired To Join ‘Weight Loss’ With Sadness

Mallory rose to fame after joining “Extreme Weight Loss” in 2014 as a contestant weighing 329 pounds. The late social media influencer excelled during the reality show, losing 151 pounds and leaving the program at an incredible 178 pounds.

Mallory originally signed up to be on the show “The Biggest Loser” but the creators believed she was better suited for “Extreme Weight Loss.” In an interview in 2018, the 40-year-old opened up about what prompted him to take action on his body, saying the death of his older sister at the age of 29 had hit him hard.

“I literally wake up every day like… this might be the last day I wake up, like, I don’t know what’s going to happen to me,” he said at the time. “When you play in your mind that I might have to do something about my weight because I’m afraid I might die too, then you might have to pay attention to things like that.”

Even after leaving the show, Mallory was serious about her weight loss often documenting her journey on social media. Just two months before his death, he uploaded an intense workout routine to the delight of his fans.
