In July 2022, Faima Shiek’s co-star Praveen proposed to her with a ring during the Sridevi Drama Company show. During an emotional speech, while explaining why he loves Faima, Praveen said “because she achieved what she wanted.” Praveen talked about how Faima fulfilled her mother’s dream of buying her own house.

Career
As a simple family, in the beginning, Faima did various side jobs such as working in agricultural fields and hospitals, sewing, and making beedis, to earn a living. In 2019, she gained recognition through the Telugu comedy show Pataas 2 on ETV Plus hosted by Sreemukhi and Ravi where she performed with her partner Praveen.

Later, she appeared in the show Pove Pora hosted by Vishnupriya Bheemineni and Sudigaali Sudheer. She came into limelight after appearing in the Telugu show Jabardasth and its extended version, Extra Jabardasth, on ETV. In the show, various stand-up comedians showcase their skills by performing funny skits, comic acts and entertaining skits. On the show, she was first a part of Avinash’s skit. Later, when Avinash entered the show Bigg Boss Telugu in 2020, Faima became an integral part of comedian Jeevan and Bhaskar’s sketch on the show. His on-screen chemistry with Emmanuel and the rest of the show is much appreciated.
