Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis’ 2022 financial disclosure made no mention of a Miami vacation paid for by her alleged lover Nathan Wade, documents show.
A private attorney, Wade was hired by Willis in late 2021 to oversee the prosecution of former President Donald Trump and his co-defendants for alleged meddling in the 2020 Georgia election.
In a financial disclosure section asking the DA to disclose gifts or assistance valued at more than $100 from “prohibited sources,” Willis replied, “None,” the Daily Caller reported Thursday.
On Oct. 4 2022, Wade paid $477.21 for an American Airlines ticket to Miami in Willis’ name, according to a bank statement filed in a Cobb County, Ga., court by his estranged wife, Jocelyn Wade, as part of their divorce proceedings.
Fulton County’s Code of Ethics considers that “prohibited sources” include people who “do business with the county,” such as Wade.

The plane tickets were purchased the same day Wade made a $2,600 payment to Royal Caribbean Cruises, which Jocelyn’s attorney said was another personal trip for prosecutors and Willis.
Wade also paid an additional $3,835 to a travel agency, Vacation Express, the next day.
None of Wade’s expenses were listed in Willis’ ethics disclosure.
“This needs to be clarified,” Georgia-based criminal defense attorney and legal analyst Phil Holloway said in the Willis partnership’s X disclosure form.
Wade paid for a $477 plane ticket in Willis’ name in October 2022.
Fulton County imposes penalties including fines of up to $1000, public reprimands and recommendations to the board of commissioners for additional disciplinary action for individuals who commit “willful violations” of the ethics code, such as “providing false or misleading information to the ethics board.”
The alleged romance between Wade and Willis came as Trump’s co-defendant Michael Roman asked that criminal charges against him be dismissed on the grounds of “improper” and “clandestine” contact between the special prosecutor and the DA.
Wade filed for divorce on November 1, 2021, the day after he was hired by Willis.
The special prosecutor has collected nearly $654,000 in legal fees since 2022 from the Fulton County DA’s Office for his work on the Trump case.
Last week, the head of the Fulton County Board of Commissioners’ audit committee, Bob Ellis, demanded that Willis provide information related to his appointment of Wade as part of an investigation into potential “misuse” of taxpayer funds.
The Fulton County DA’s office did not respond to The Post’s request for comment.
