After an autopsy revealed Matthew Perry died from the acute effects of the drug Ketamine, fans of the “Friends” actor flooded social media, reacting to the news.
According to a report obtained by The Blast, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner (DME) determined the cause of death of 54-year-old actor Matthew Langford Perry to be the acute effects of Ketamine.
The manner of death has been ruled an accident.

While promoting his 2022 memoir, “Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing,” the 54-year-old actor talked about how he wants to be remembered at any time. “[I want to be remembered] as a man who lives life, loves well, lives well, and helps people. What came across me was a good thing and not a bad thing.”
