On Thursday, August 10, Hudson was thrilled when she paid tribute to her son on his 14th birthday using a heartwarming video on Instagram. In the clip, she can be heard in the background but doesn’t make an appearance as she focuses on the festivities, which seems too appropriate for a teenager.
DOJ was filmed wearing a red shirt with his name and “13” printed on his chest as he flexed his ripped arm while showing off some moves with a basketball. Letting fans join in the celebration, the talk show host asked his son, “What’s going on? Why did you get that 13? Aren’t you 14 today?” to which she replied, “Yes, this is the shirt I wore a year ago today.”
Hudson then asked, “How old are you today?” and grinning, DOJ replied, “14 now,” before mama proudly broke into a happy birthday song. In the caption, the 41-year-old musician stated:
