On Tuesday, the world gathered on their screens to watch the remaining couple — Ariana Madix & Pasha Pashkov; Jason Mraz & Daniella Karagach; Xochitl Gomez & Val Chmerkovskiy; Amal Lawson & Artem Chigvintsev, and Alyson Hannigan & Sasha Farber.

The big night started with Ariana and Pasha performing the Jive to “Runaway Baby” by Bruno Mars, and received a score of 28/30 for a near-perfect execution. For their second dance round, the pair scored a perfect 30/30 for the Foxtrot to “Trampoline” by SHAED & ZAYN.

Next up were Jason and Karagach, who performed the Viennese Waltz to his hit song, “I Won’t Give Up,” earning a score of 27 out of 30. The award-winning singer admitted to Alfonso Riberio that he was close to her. called him last week night. “I wanted to throw in the towel. I’m so glad I didn’t,” she told the host.

For Jason and Karagach’s second dance to “Diablo Rojo” by Rodrigo y Gabriela, they earned a perfect score for their incredible Paso Doble routine.

Taking the stage next were Xochitl and Val, who were perhaps the most brilliant couple of the night. Both started with a perfect score of 30 out of 30 for Samba to “Samba” by Gloria Estefan. Xochitl was crowned “samba diva” by judge Bruno Tonioli.

The pair repeated their brilliance during the second round, scoring another 30 out of 30 for the Waltz to “La Vie en Rose” by Lady Gaga. They topped the leaderboard with a score of 60.

It was definitely difficult for Charity and Artem to match their previous performances, but the pair countered with a dazzling Rumba to Skylar Grey’s “Love The Way You Lie Part III” that earned them a score of nearly 29. out of 30. However, they came back more strong for the second round with a perfect score thanks to their Quickstep route to “BO$$” by Fifth Harmony.

The final performers of the night, Alyson and Sasha, may have been the poorest of the night, earning a score of 25 out of 30 for their first routine Jive to “Footloose” by Kenny Loggins.

Unlike the other four couples who got perfect scores for their second dance round, Alyson and Sasha ended up with a 26 out of 30 rating for the Waltz to “Come Away With Me” by Norah Jones.

After two hours of the best performances from the pair, it was time for America to find out who was going home. However, in a surprise, history-making twist, co-hosts Riberio and Julianne Hough announced that no one would be returning home.

This means that for the first time in “DWTS” history, the finale will feature five couples dancing for the big win!
