Bachelor Nation’s Nick Viall is celebrating Valentine’s Day loud and proud!
The former ‘Bachelor’ recently popped the question to girlfriend Natalie Joy with a lavish engagement. Viall and Joy are celebrating their first Valentine’s Day as an engaged couple by keeping things ‘under the hood’ and some of Viall’s Instagram followers aren’t experiencing it!
The couple, separated by almost two decades, are proud enough to live their love story in their own way, without letting criticism stop them. However, there are some Bachelor Nation fans who take issue with the way these two choose to share their love with the world.
On Valentine’s Day, Viall posted a rather NSFW Insta photo, and some skeptical Bachelor Nation fans didn’t hesitate to let Viall know what they thought!
Viall And Joy Shamelessly Celebrate Their Love For Each Other!
Viall, 42, and Joy, 23, are known to celebrate and display their love on Instagram, in ways that sometimes surprise fans.
The couple celebrated Halloween by dressing up as Jessica and Roger Rabbit last year- a fan-favorite costume combo!
For Viall, getting to the point where he can be in a close, happy relationship where he and his partner unabashedly display their love, took a short time. According to our report on the couple’s Halloween costume, Viall discussed the past obstacles he’s had on the road to true love in his relationship-oriented book, “Don’t Taxi Your Ex Happy Birthday.”
“I’m a very hard person to get over some heartbreaks, and that can be a scary thing. We will find many ways to not forget someone because we love them, or miss what we had. And it’s hard not to let something go. But it’s not healthy to hold on to toxic things in a relationship that no longer exists. Someone [who] doesn’t want to be with you- even if it’s hard to accept- when you hold onto it, it really eats away at you,” Viall wrote, in the tenth chapter of “Don’t Text Your Ex Happy Birthday.”
Viall has indeed finally found someone who wants to be with him; his girl makes him move by sliding into his DMs! Joy’s decision to make the bold move earned her a rose in Viall’s opinion!
“It was very romantic,” Viall recalled on an episode of “The Viall Files.” “We kept hanging out, and he finally got to a point where he said, ‘I want to date,’ and I was like, ‘I don’t know… He just said, ‘OK, this is what I want. No big deal, but I’m going to go do my thing,’ and he did, and I was like, ‘What?!’ He went and showed me what I was missing,” he explained.

The two brought the Valentine’s Day heat on Instagram in a post that not all of Viall’s followers liked!
In the photo, which depicts Joy showing off her rear in a bikini, and Viall shirtless, the former ‘Bachelor’ wrote, “Roses are red, violets are blue, my life changed forever since I met you,” in her caption . ode to his bride-to-be.
A fan does not hesitate to reveal their thoughts; “Are there other things that people don’t consider holy?”
Other fans echoed this thought; “Is anything sacred anymore?!?!”
“She will be your WIFE. She will be the MOTHER of your children. This is not,” wrote another follower.
“Why do people think we WANT to see them naked?,” another follower asked.
“What about your parents and Nick’s parents?,” one fan weighed in, “I don’t understand why Nick has to share this with the world. Yes fiancee is beautiful but you have to understand that there are many sick people in this world and is it worth it? I believe things should be left behind closed doors. I’m far from a smart person, but you have to draw the line sometimes on social media. You really don’t need attention…,” they concluded.
“This post surprised me. This is the future wife and mother of your children. Please show her some respect and dignity with her clothes. Especially on Valentine’s Day and don’t accuse him. I’ve always loved you as a partner but this makes me cry,” wrote another fan.
Fan chatter and unsolicited advice don’t seem to get in the way. The two have long been open about sharing the extent of their love and happiness.
