On Friday, it was revealed that the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department arrested Duane “Keffe D” Davis in connection with the fatal shooting of Tupac on September 13, 1996, marking a significant breakthrough in the case after 27 years.
Police had previously searched a home in Las Vegas in connection with Tupac’s murder.
Davis was arrested Friday morning and faces charges of gang-enhanced murder. During a press conference, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department identified him as the individual who issued the death order in Tupac’s murder, referring to him as the “commander on the scene.”
Notably, the now 60-year-old suspect has claimed to be one of three “living witnesses” to the events surrounding Tupac’s murder, as documented in the 2019 book, “Compton Street Legends.”
