Cowen stars in the Netflix teen drama series, “Fate: The Winx Saga,” which dominated the streaming platform’s Top 10 Movies and TV list throughout its weekly premiere. Unfortunately, after the second season, the show was canceled.

In November, Cowen wrote a lengthy message to his “changed fans,” whom he thanked for their “outstanding support.”

It was a true honor to be a part of the fantastic world created by Iginio Straffi, Brian Young, @netflix and Archery Pictures and I will cherish the memories we all created together forever,” adding, “And a special shout out and thank you to my Florida freak forever, @brianjyoung. From the moment we met, I knew we were in love with each other hehe. You took a risk on me, you believed in me, and you never failed to bring joy to this show day after day. You have truly changed my life and made my weird Florida girl dreams come true. Everyone watch out for Brian, if he doesn’t take over the world in a year, he will at least take over the industry. I can’t express enough to everyone, and especially the fans of this show, how grateful we are to have such a beautiful, inclusive, kind and passionate community around us.
