Celebrity fitness trainer Senada Greca isn’t a fan of fad diets and makes sure to include every macronutrient in every meal.
In one of her latest Instagram recipes, she made a Mediterranean pasta bake using olive oil for fat, salmon for protein and pasta and vegetables for carbs. She swapped traditional pasta for red lentil pasta to make the recipe not only higher in protein but gluten free too!

The best thing about Zentoa’s founder recipes is that they are usually customizable. In this recipe, it’s pretty easy to cut out dairy, added sugar and gluten. It’s the same as replacing regular pasta with red lentil pasta for an extra dose of protein, but most lentil pastas are gluten-free – just make sure you check the label! – making it the perfect choice for anyone with celiac disease or choosing to follow a gluten-free diet.
Although she uses salmon here, she admits in the caption that the recipe can be made without it or swapped out for another protein, like chicken, though cooking times may vary. In the caption of this Instagram post, she called the dish “SUPER DELICIOUS,” adding, “Even those who don’t like salmon (but you can copy that too) will LOVE this dish. Be sure to Save and Share.”
She adds, “It’s really easy to make and can be kept in the fridge and eaten for days.” The ingredients and measurements are listed in the caption of his video, though fans can include any ingredients they don’t like.

After baking feta cheese, cherry tomatoes, spinach and diced salmon in the oven for thirty minutes at 375°F, she added her cooked pasta to the dish and tossed it all together before enjoying her dinner.
While some fans praised the delicious recipe, other followers wanted to clarify that it is not a Mediterranean dish, as it claims. “Sorry Sanada, but this is not Mediterranean pasta!! Italian pasta is another matter. Come to Italy to try authentic pasta,” commented one user.
“I offer an alternative. My recipes are inspired by certain foods, which are Mediterranean flavors in this one. Not claiming it’s an Italian buttery pasta dish but an amazing and healthy substitute,” replied Senada.
Some Fans As Far As Labeling The Recipe ‘Offensive’

Another “restaurant owner” called the pasta “offensive,” which also prompted Senada to respond. “You may own a restaurant but I suggest you try this recipe and let me know,” he replied. “Besides, I’m Albanian, and grew up with the best chefs, my mother and my grandmother.”
Other fans have different problems with the recipe. “Looks interesting. I can’t eat cheese and fish at the same time,” commented another follower. “You’d be surprised how well these two work together,” Senada replied.
“What is a good substitute for Feta cheese for people who don’t eat it? It’s cheese btw…this looks really good,” asked another fan. “If you want a vegan option, I think there are some good vegan substitutes like cashew cheese maybe,” replied Senada.
“How many servings are in this recipe?” ask another user. “This recipe makes 3-4 servings depending on your calorie goals,” Senada answers. “How do you measure how much pasta you eat per meal? Because I want to eat half the pan,” another follower asked. “This half of the pan is actually better than most pasta dishes. Especially since this is lentil pasta. Full of protein,” replied Senada.

Others fell in love with her white top and hoped it was part of the Zentoa founder’s new clothing launch. “Ohhh you are so cute! Love the colorful ones. Please tell me your top is part of the new Zentoa drop!!!” shouted a fan. “There will be a new Zentoa drop soon (this top will eventually be released as well but other beautiful things are coming),” replied Senada. “Make sure you register on the website (zentoa.com) to be notified as we will have a limited number of drops this time.”
