Five people were found dead late Tuesday night in the California desert.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department deputies were called to the small desert community of El Mirage Tuesday night to perform a welfare check when they made the gruesome discovery.
The five individuals who died were part of a remote community just off the scenic 395 Freeway between Lake Los Angeles and Adelanto, KABC reported.
The circumstances surrounding their deaths are unclear.
Police have not made any arrests in connection with the death, nor have they released the victim’s identity.
