Florence + the Machine frontwoman Florence Welch has been forced to postpone her band’s UK tour after suffering a serious leg injury. The artist recently toured for “Dance Fever,” the band’s fifth and latest studio album, released in May.

Grammy-winning artist Florence Welch has just moved dates for her remaining shows. On Saturday, the Florence + the Machines singer revealed that she had broken her leg and performed with the injury the night before. He explained that he regretted the change but it was too painful to do.
Welsh began her Instagram post, “I’m very sorry to say that after the X-rays, it looks like I danced with a broken leg last night.” The artist attached a photo of blood drops on the O2 Arena stage after his performance on Friday night.
“It’s not in my nature to postpone a show, and certainly not a UK tour, but I’m in pain and as a dancer I know, dancing in injury is not a good idea. And I have been told not to perform to avoid further damage,” he added.

Fans of the band also posted about the incident and how the band had to wipe the blood away multiple times. A concertgoer shared a clip of two roadies wiping blood stains and caption it, “When @florencemachine gives so much, she leaves her blood on the @o2 stage.”
One more write“Florence was running around until her leg started bleeding, so she had to go backstage a few times to fix it, and while the crew was wiping the actual blood off the stage, my brain kept insisting that they needed to throw paper towels to the crowd afterwards.”
Florence + The Machine is Touring the World

The English rock group began their world tour after releasing “Dance Fever” in May. The UK and Irish legs of the tour are scheduled for later this month. For her final performance on Friday, Welch showcased boho style in a flowing coral statement gown.
The dress has ruffle detailing and some sequin lace detailing in addition to sheer panels. The sleeves fell in netted wings, and a column of ruffles fell beneath them. Welch left her copper hair down to complete the look. The reason behind the artist’s decision to go shoeless is unknown; however, it’s a common theme for Welch.
The UK side of Florence + the Machine have seven more dates scheduled across the country for the rest of November. The group will stop in Bournemouth on Monday evening; however, it is unlikely to start due to recent announcements.
