A Florida man with a neck tattoo that read “All Gas, No Brakes” is facing charges after he and a female accomplice tried to elude police before speeding and crashing into a parked car in suburban Orlando early Monday.
Polk County deputies were called to the Davenport neighborhood at about 3:28 a.m. after receiving reports that a man and woman were seen trying to break into several cars in the neighborhood, the sheriff’s office wrote on Facebook.
When police attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the suspect’s white 2006 Cadillac CTS, the vehicle sped off, passing through the neighborhood while trying to find an exit.
The police did not follow the suspect because there was only one way in and out of the neighborhood.
Video released by the sheriff’s office shows the Cadillac speeding down a road past a deputy and a resident, who quickly jumped out of the way to avoid being hit.

Finally, the car turned and sped down the same road before crashing into an unoccupied parked vehicle.
Deputies quickly pulled both suspects out of the disabled Cadillac and called EMS to treat their injuries.
“Eliminating a law enforcement traffic stop shows very poor decision making, but to do so in a small residential neighborhood at high speeds is a terrible and dangerous idea. It’s amazing and lucky that no innocents were hurt or killed. They can easily crash into a house,” said Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd.

“It should come as no surprise that the driver has a tattoo on his neck that says, ‘All gas, no brakes,'” Judd added.
The driver was identified as 37-year-old Timothy Allen Hogue of Apopka, and the passenger was 31-year-old Rebecca Kozub of Ocoee. Both were treated in hospital for injuries sustained in the accident.
After receiving treatment, Hogue admitted to police that the burglary was Kozub’s idea and that he was trying to run away because he was “just scared,” the sheriff said in a statement.

Hogue, whose mugshot showed a large tattoo on his neck, was arrested after he was released from the hospital.
He has been charged with burglary of an unoccupied vehicle, felony petit theft, fleeing to elude, conspiracy to commit burglary, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and nonviolent resistance.
As of Tuesday, Kozub remained hospitalized after suffering a broken leg in the crash, and charges against him were pending.
Hogue has an extensive rap sheet of 31 felonies and 18 misdemeanors, while Kozub has 19 felonies and 20 misdemeanors.
