A drunken Florida man desperate to escape a police chase ditched his car Sunday after a lengthy police chase — but not before hitting the window to fall “out like a dolphin,” police said.
Wild body camera footage shows Tyler Fayconsolo, 24, throwing himself through the passenger side window after smashing the glass with nothing but his skull.
“That’s one way to use your head,” the Marion County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement accompanying the strange car and foot chase.
Fayconsolo quickly ran away and continued to flee on foot, but it wasn’t long before the K9 forced him to surrender to officers.
He was taken to the hospital where he allegedly confessed that he was “tall as f–k.”
Police have been chasing Fayconsolo for several miles since catching him driving erratically when leaving a gas station in Ocala, a city about 80 miles northwest of Orlando.
Body camera footage shows the allegedly intoxicated driver swerving in and out of his lane, including across the road and through a large green area.

At one point, the fleeing driver almost ran over two individuals who were parked in front of the path that Fayconsolo allegedly traveled.
At times Fayconsolo topped 100 miles per hour during his escape.
In a separate attempt to stop Fayconsolo, officers performed a pit maneuver and placed a stop stick — but the fugitive continued to accelerate with four flat tires and his rear bumper dragging along the road, the video shows.
Finally, Fayconsolo’s vehicle was disabled when he hit a residential fence set in concrete.

“This is where Tyler used his head, but not how you’re supposed to … he went through the passenger side window and out like a dolphin,” the sheriff’s office said. “But in Tyler fashion, he stopped using his head again and thought running from the K-9 was a good idea.”
K9 Jet can be seen in the video chewing on the top of Fayconsolo’s leg as officers raced after the dog.
“He bit me, help! Please stop him!” Fayconsolo screamed moments before the deputy released the dog and secured the handler.
Fayconsolo then tried to tell the officer “someone tried to rob” him, to which the officer simply said: “Okay.”
