A retired Kentucky police officer has been charged with rape and sodomy after he allegedly admitted to having sex with a 14-year-old victim multiple times – and also buying sex toys for the sick abuser.
Radcliff resident David Roy Love, 69, was arrested Jan. 4 by Kentucky State Police following an investigation into the alleged perv, local newspaper News Enterprise reported.
Love reportedly admitted to the inappropriate relationship during a non-custodial interview, arrest records show.
The abuse began in early October when the victim was still 13 years old, according to documents obtained by the newspaper.
The ex-cop said he received and performed oral sex, engaged in other sexual acts, and also purchased sex toys for their use during two or more encounters with the victims.

In her mugshot, six-foot-tall Love’s face appears badly bruised and swollen, while her head is wrapped in gauze and bandages.
A source told The Post that Love had cancer and that her mug shot appearance was a side effect of the radiation treatment she received.
The former officer also reportedly admitted to having child pornography on his personal tablet and posting the porn via Facebook. He later deleted it to hide the evidence.
Cinta is charged with second-degree rape, second-degree sodomy and tampering with evidence. He was released from the Hardin County Detention Center a day after his arrest after posting part of a $25,000 bond.
