The 34-year-old mama now mostly documents her life on Instagram since leaving “Vanderpump Rules” after nine seasons on Bravo’s big success story, but ‘VPR’ is never far behind.

Schroeder (who married boyfriend Beau Clark two years ago) sat down with Alexandra Cooper for an interview on Cooper’s celebrity-driven “Call Her Daddy” podcast, which was released on Wednesday. Cooper and Schroeder-Clark couldn’t help but discuss all things ‘Scandoval,’ and the “Vanderpump Rules” alum is now clarifying allegations circulating that she allegedly defended Tom Sandoval, 39, against an onslaught of internet comments.

Earlier this spring, reports surfaced claiming Sandoval had cheated on his partner of nine years, Ariana Madix, with his co-star and Madix’s close friend, Raquel Leviss. ‘VPR’ has been in its off season, but the cameras quickly started rolling again when the scandal broke.

Recently, reality TV fans got to see the cast of “Vanderpump Rules” (including Vanderpump herself) reunite for the first time since Scandoval broke up in the three-part reunion of the tenth season.

Schroeder was given airtime in the latest video episode of “Call Her Daddy,” where she shared her thoughts on Scandoval and the treatment Sandoval has received since the scandal broke.

According to Us Weekly, the New York Times bestselling author gave her perspective on receiving social media backlash and whether she believes Sandoval should accept the seemingly endless amount of “online vitriol.”

“I’m in a position where I’ve received so much hate before,” Schroeder explained to Cooper. “I don’t like where we’re at, like, in society, where that’s how we punish people… it’s like cutting off people’s heads emotionally.”

Schroeder said, “Who should decide what the punishment is? Like, who makes someone powerful about it?” he continued. “What gives this person in their computer power over what they think is hateful enough for him to accept? I’m not upset by that… I don’t like it,” Schroeder concluded.

Several outlets reported that the ‘VPR’ alumni had defended Sandoval after the episode aired. A few hours later, Schroeder responded to the conversation via an Instagram Story text post.

Schroeder was adamant in explaining his stance on Sandoval.

He wrote, “I see a lot of clickbait articles saying I’m defending Tom Sandoval on Call Her Daddy. Not true,” Schroeder began his post. “I expressed my opinion about hate online and how dark it is. I would never defend Tom Sandoval in this situation,” Schroeder continued, referencing his affair with Leviss.

“He is 100% wrong. Like seriously with this title? Lol,” he concluded.

No current or past “Vanderpump Rules” cast members have commented on Schroeder’s interview.

Schroeder was fired from “Vanderpump Rules” in 2020 after eight seasons with the show. According to one of our coverage of the reality star, he was fired due to reported racism.

He was quite open about the processing that was removed from the show. A few months after news of her exit from “Vanderpump Rules” broke, she sat down with Tameron Hall for an interview.

“I need time to process my feelings,” Schroeder said, about staying quiet about his passing for a while. “I need time to process what’s happening, and I feel like one of the most frustrating parts of all this going down is that people just expect me to understand everything right away, and things like that take time,” she continued.

Schroeder reportedly hired a coach to show him how to be anti-racist and teach him more about Black history.

“I am a person who often makes mistakes,” he said. “I am the reason why I am in this situation,” he explained.
