Venezuelan socialite Michelle Troconis was seen with her now-deceased boyfriend Fotis Dulos in security footage which showed him disposing of evidence in his ex-wife’s murder, her trial was told.
Dulos was seen in a white T-shirt and black baseball cap walking down Albany Avenue in Hartford, Conn., on the day his wife Jennifer Dulos disappeared in May 2019, according to footage played in Stamford Superior Court on Monday.
At times, the man can be seen getting out of his Ford F-150 to throw unknown objects into some of the trash cans along the city streets.
The police said that Dulos and Troconis had disposed of 30 bags of goods that day and the blood of the missing mother of five children was found on several objects inside.
Another video appears to show Dulos throwing an envelope into a storm drain, as Troconis reaches the sidewalk near the sewer gate.

Two modified license plates were found in an envelope discarded there – which were later matched to an older model Chevrolet Suburban once registered to Dulos, prosecutors said.
“We never disputed the fact that Michelle was in the vehicle,” Troconis’ attorney, Jon Schoenhorn, said after court on Monday, according to the Hartford Courant.
He claimed, however, that he was just trying to get rid of a piece of gum by wiping it on the sidewalk, he said.

Surveillance footage showed “very clearly that it was Fotis Dulos who dropped the FedEx envelope” with the altered plate into the drain, Schoenhorn said.
“The bottom line is this is what Fotis Dulos did,” Schoenhorn said of the murder suspect who killed himself before facing trial.
“He is not here to explain himself. I don’t think anyone will be able to explain what he did,” he said.

“The bottom line is that I have yet to see anything to suggest that Michelle Troconis knows anything about anything [Dulos] it depends.”
Dulos has been charged with murdering his ex-wife at her New Canaan home after she returned from dropping off their five children at school in May 2019.
Police say he waited for her to come home, attacked her in the garage and tried to clean up the scene before driving off with her body in another SUV. The vehicle was later found abandoned in a local park but Jennifer Dulos’ body was never found.

Dulos would later take his own life as he faced charges for his ex-wife’s murder — leaving Troconis as the only defendant in the case.
Troconis, 49, faces charges for allegedly helping him cover up the crime, including conspiracy to commit murder, tampering with evidence and hindering prosecution.

Jurors previously heard from the Dulos’ nanny, Lauren Almeida, who claimed in court that the parents were initially “good to each other,” but their relationship soon fell apart and eventually worsened when Jennifer Dulos found out about her husband. relationship with Troconis in March 2017, according to the Courant.

Almeida claims that Fotis would often intimidate Jennifer Dulos, and she became so frightened that she fled their Farmington home to file for divorce from the safety of a five-star Manhattan hotel and hired a bodyguard.
Police have also testified that they found what appeared to be blood on a black Range Rover found in the victim’s garage.
But the Troconis family continues to insist Michelle is innocent.
“We stand together as a family, because that’s who we are, we stand together to support my brother,” Claudia Troconis said outside the Stamford court on Thursday.
“She was an amazing mother, daughter, sister, mom, and just an amazing human being,” he continued. “And we know that the truth will prevail and justice will be served because he is innocent … this has not been fair for the last four and a half years.”
