According to shocking new reports, the body of beloved actor Matthew Perry was found in an LA-area home on Saturday, where he apparently died of drowning.

Sources disclosed to TMZ that Perry was found in a jacuzzi at an area home, there were no drugs around, and no foul play involved.

Before his shocking death, Perry was best known for his stellar performance as Chandler Bing in the comedy TV series, “Friends” where he appeared alongside Lisa Kudrow, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, and Matt Le Blanc.

During a talk at the Los Angeles Book Festival last year to promote her memoir, “Friends, Lovers, and Big Awful Things”Perry emphasized that the purpose of the book is not to blame anyone in particular for the struggles he discusses in the book, including his battle with opioid addiction.

Perry said, “I’ve been in therapy since I was 18 years old. I want to make sure that this is not the kind of book where I blame people for their mistakes. You have to give them credit for the things they do right.”

The actor also said he wants to be remembered “as a man who lived life, loved well, lived well, and helped people. What I came across was a good thing and not a bad thing.”
