Now that “The Bachelor” has ended, Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia have apparently split up as they begin their next chapter. Windey just competed on the latest season of “Dancing With the Stars” and is currently on live tour, while Recchia picked up and moved to California with her current roommate Genevieve Parisi.
The two have not been seen together since December when they both appeared at the People’s Choice Awards together. Recchia also posted on Instagram at the time, writing, “Bachelor nation NONE of this would be possible without you guys!!! what an honor to be on @peopleschoice & standing next to you @gabby.windey I couldn’t be prouder of you ?.”
Despite being in different states, remain close friends and continue to support each other. In a recent Q&A on her Instagram, Windey was asked “Are you still close with Rachel?” to which he replied, “Of course! She’s been one of my biggest supporters through all these changes,” followed by three red hearts and a photo of the two of them from their time on “The Bachelorette.”

A few months ago, Rachel Recchia appeared on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, where she discussed the split between her close friend Gabby Windey and her ex-fiancé Erich Schwer, even saying she was grateful to Windey because she was busy competing. on “Dancing with the Stars” in the midst of her breakup with Schwer.
“He’s very busy right now, which in a way, I’m very grateful for this for him, because I think it’s really helpful to be involved in something,” he explained. “He literally trains all day, every day.”
Recchia concluded with, “I’m glad he has something to focus on instead of whatever is going on behind the scenes.”
The 26-year-old reality television star has been seen supporting Gabby Windey on her season of “Dancing With the Stars,” even attending live tapings as often as possible.
“As much as we can talk and exchange texts we do, and me going and supporting him personally is really the opportunity I get,” Rachel Recchia explained on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast. “Whatever support and whatever he needs right now, I’ll try to give him, just because we all know how difficult it is, especially in the public eye.”
Gabby Windey finished second on “Dancing With the stars” and is currently co-hosting the “Dancing With the Stars” live tour with professional dancer Emma Slater. The two recently spent time relaxing on a boat together and visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth — Walt Disney World.
