Genevieve Parisi and Aaron Clancy were considered one of the strongest couples in this season of “Bachelor in Paradise,” until Tuesday, November 1 episode when the two had a great fight.
Although the two were on good terms, it wasn’t long before they were fighting again, and fans started calling Aaron “lighter”.
Towards the end of “Paradise,” rumors began to spread that Aaron was only using Genevieve because he had not one, but two girlfriends at home. During the final episode of the reality show, Aaron broke up with Genevieve, shocking not only Genevieve, but Bachelor Nation.
Now, Genevieve is speaking out, admitting she fell in love with the wrong man.
Genevieve Says She Ignores Red Flags

The 27-year-old bartender recently went on “The Ben and Ashley I: Almost Famous” podcast, where he told the hosts, Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti, that he “fell in love with the wrong person.”
“I think you can fall in love with the wrong person, sure, and I don’t think I fell in love with the right person for me,” admitted Genevieve. “I fell in love with him before our first argument… I think I fell in love before I realized all the problems.”
When recalling one of their first fights, Genevieve admits that she and Aaron “didn’t communicate well” when they were at the beach. “I feel like whatever I say, it’s not received or heard,” the 27-year-old told the host.
Ben and Ashley ask Genevieve if she’s in love or just lustful with Aaron, which is when Genevieve shares, “Looking back, I don’t know. It’s hard looking back to believe that I fell in love, to be honest. I do not know. I do not know.”
At the end of the day, Genevieve said she went into the “Bachelor in Paradise” process “with so much hope,” which, she admits, may have had an effect on her judgment.
“I just want to make it work; I want to find my people,” said Genevieve.
Genevieve Parisi Dishes On Aaron’s Girlfriend Back Home

While on “The Ben and Ashley I: Almost Famous” podcast, Genevieve Parisi also discussed the rumors that Aaron Clancy spread and that he had a girlfriend at home during “Paradise.”
“I really think so [Aaron] had to leave the beach single and he had no plans to go in a relationship — and certainly not engaged,” he explained. “If you look at the timeline, it doesn’t make sense to convince me to stay [when I packed my bags] twice when you can let me go a few days before. You can [denied] i am rose It doesn’t make sense!”
He also brought up how he no longer calls the girlfriend a “rumor” because there is proof. “I don’t know if I want to say ‘rumor’ because I think there is evidence,” Genevieve continued to explain, “that Aaron had a girlfriend before he left for Paradise – and not just one, but two.”

According to Reality Steve spoiler blogger Steve Carbone, Aaron Clancy is dating a woman, who he actually started spending time with at least nine months ago — before “Bachelor In Paradise.”
“It’s pretty clear that she’s saying on her Instagram that she and Aaron are a thing,” Carbone said on his podcast. Although he did not name the mystery girl, Carbone said Aaron is definitely dating and/or in a relationship with the woman.
“And based on some of his IG posts,” Carbone wrote in one of his blog posts, “[it] It seems that this is someone who has been around for a long time.”
Second Girlfriend Comes Forward

Just days after the initial reports broke, a woman contacted Reality Steve about Aaron Clancy, claiming she was also dating the reality television star – making her the second woman Aaron dated before the show.
“She started seeing Aaron in September of last year right around the time the final season of Paradise aired,” Reality Steve wrote. “They dated from September to November when they decided. In January this year, they got back together and started dating again, this time more seriously.” He later stated that this woman said she dated Aaron “from January to May, a few weeks before he went to Heaven.”
The spoiler blogger goes on to say that there is an “undeniable” overlap between Aaron dating the new woman and his current girlfriend, who Aaron also dated before the show.
She also posted a photo with Aaron in Summer 2021 when they apparently took a trip to Tulum, Mexico together — before “Bachelor In Paradise.”
“Nothing I found from right before he left for the BIP shoot,” Carbone continued to write. “But I’m just being realistic here. Aaron is no different than most guys in this franchise. A lot of them go to the main show and BIP with women at home who are basically ‘on hold’, or they have it in the back of their mind if things don’t work out.”
