Liar Rep. George Santos (R-NY) launched a tirade on the floor of Congress on Friday after an activist confronted him about the “massacre of the Palestinian people” while the embattled lawmaker carried a baby in his arms.
“He’s an animal! I’m holding the child!” Santos shouted, surrounded by reporters as he walked away from the scene of the confrontation.
“He’s a terrorist sympathizer!” shouted the furious representative of the people. “No one who defends Hamas has any business in this building, whether you are elected or a civilian!”
In another clip of the incident, Santos flagged down a Capitol Police officer and pointed to one of the two individuals – a man identified as Shabd Singh – who he claims attacked him.
“Officer, this is the man who watched over me when I had a two-month-old baby in my arms,” the 35-year-old woman explained calmly.

“You came into my private space, yelling at me,” the lawmaker told the activist before the pair were embroiled in a war in Israel.
“You are human filth!” A newly enraged Santos yelled at Singh.
Singh, who is listed as the legislative advocacy manager for former Vice President Al Gore’s nonprofit Climate Reality Project, was seen handcuffed by Capitol Police after the incident.

“This evening, the USCP arrested 36-year-old Shabd Khalsa and charged him with simple assault after an officer witnessed him having physical contact with a Congressional Staff member in the Longworth Building,” Capitol Police said in a statement. “The USCP will continue to investigate.”
A podcast about Sikh history, philosophy and culture that Singh apparently hosts lists his name as “Shabd Singh Khalsa.”
“He accused me of being in his personal space, so I took a step back,” Singh told reporters at the Capitol before being handcuffed. “He held a child in his arms and said that it was inappropriate for me to ask him questions in that scenario. I kept asking him those questions. He refused to answer.”

“I’m here to say that you can’t weaponize Jewish pain to continue the mass murder of civilians,” Singh, a former organizer and political friend for Bernie Sanders’ campaign for President, said of his remarks inside the Longworth House Office Building. , which is open to the public.
Santos was heard telling former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) before the incident that the baby belonged to one of his staffers.
“A couple of terrorist sympathizers approached me, cursed me, shouted and scolded the baby in my arms,” Santos posted on X after the incident. “Here’s what I want to say: Elected or not, terrorist sympathizers in the halls of Congress are unacceptable.”
“Lock him up,” Santos wrote in a separate post showing Singh being handcuffed and taken away by authorities.
