Scott Porter is best known for his role as Jason Street on the NBC television drama “Friday Night Lights”, but he has recently captivated fans of the Netflix original series “Ginny & Georgia” where he plays Mayor Paul Randolph.
The beloved actress just celebrated the release of “Ginny & Georgia” season two, but when she’s not filming or working, she likes to spend time at the Most Magical Place on Earth — Walt Disney World.

Porter took to Instagram recently to share a photo dump while visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
“Went to #AnimalKingdom in early 2023 with the family and it was….wild…,” she captioned the post, which included a photo of the family in front of the iconic Tree of Life.

The Porter family also visited Pandora — World of Avatar where they took a family photo in front of the floating rock.
Porter went on to write in her caption, “I got to spend time with my loved ones and see old friends while I was working there and make some new ones. Pandora is amazing.”
Behind The Scenes At The Festival Of The Lion King

Not only did they experience Pandora, but they also headed to Africa where they got to see the Festival of The Lion King show, and even went backstage to take photos with the cast and crew!
“The Lion King Festival is just as fun as years past when I would sing outside of it,” Porter wrote in the caption. “My old show Tarzan Rocks is gone but it still feels like home.”

The “Ginny & Georgia” star shared another image of himself, along with his kids and wife, as they rode the TriceraTop Spin — an attraction located inside DinoLand, USA at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
This ride is very similar to the Dumbo the Flying Elephant ride inside the Magic Kingdom at Disney World as Guests board the flying dinosaur ride vehicle and fly high above the Park, enjoying all the sights.

And finally, the “Friday Night Lights” actress shared a photo of her and her family posing in front of a huge Christmas tree outside Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
The holidays are over at Walt Disney World, but Porter does mention that these images are from earlier in 2023 when the decorations are still in the Park.
All in all, it looks like the Porter family had a “roaring” time at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
