Supermodel, Gisele Bündchen, took her divorce from Tom Brady in stride.
The mother of two, who finalized her divorce from the NFL star in October, recently posted a photo of herself and the kids having the time of their lives during a trip to Brazil.
In her post, Bündchen shared that she embarked on the journey to rejuvenate herself, hinting that the vacation was necessary to recover from her divorce.
The supermodel and Brady were married for 13 years before separating and agreeing to share joint custody of their children, Benjamin Rein, 13, and Vivian Lake, 10.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Bündchen shared a vacation post of herself and her 13-year-old son Benjamin Rein and 10-year-old daughter Vivian Lake, which they took on their trip to Brazil.
A carousel of images shows the trio enjoying their vacation and bonding more as a family.
One of the images shows Bündchen and her two children playing on what appears to be a playground structure, while several other photos capture them hanging out by the pool and spending time on the beach.
The 42-year-old supermodel also shared photos of some of the delicious meals they enjoyed during the trip, as well as a picture of her hugging Vivian.
Another image shows the mother-of-two meditating while sitting in a yoga pose on a large gray cushioned chair.
She captioned the vacation post, “Recharging with my little ones in my country [heart].”

Bündchen’s trip comes after she’s had an emotionally difficult year, capped by the finalization of her divorce from her professional football husband, Brady.
The couple legally separated in late October, after which Bündchen embarked on a trip to Costa Rica with her two children, presumably to distract herself from the emotional pain of the breakup.
Their journey took them to a coastal area of Costa Rica called Provincia de Puntarenas. Bündchen and her children also visited the Central American country with her jiu-jitsu instructor, Joaquim Valente, as well as other children and adults, including one of the children’s teachers.

At the time, there were rumors that Valente and Bündchen were dating, but it was confirmed that the trainer was Gisele’s childhood martial arts teacher.
“He and his two brothers are Gisele and the children’s martial arts teacher,” said the source, per many people, before insisting they were “not dating.”

In October, Bündchen and Brady publicly announced that they had separated for good after 13 years of legal marriage. Through Many peopleCourt documents revealed that the marriage was “irreconcilable,” even though they both agreed to share joint custody of their children.
Bündchen wrote on Instagram at the time, “The decision to end a marriage is never easy, but we have separated, and while it is difficult, of course, to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always.”
Meanwhile, Brady wrote on his page, “We came to this decision amicably, and with gratitude, for the time we spent together…. We wish only the best for each other as we continue this new chapter in our lives that is still not yet written.”

Since their split, the couple has stuck to their decision not to let their separation get in the way of their relationship with their children. This includes honoring their children together on their birthdays and other special celebrations.
During Rein’s 13th birthday earlier that month, Brady shared an emotional post to celebrate his teen.
“You are very special and loved. There is no greater gift than being your father,” he wrote, adding, “We love you so much, Benny.”
Bündchen also shared her own post to celebrate her son, saying she was “so proud of the kind, loving and brave young man” he has grown to be. He added: “Thank you for bringing so much joy into our lives. We love you so much.”
