In his April interview with Vanity Fair, Bündchen addressed long-standing rumors of a romantic involvement between her and Valente, stating that they were false.
“I think, at this point, unfortunately, because I’m already divorced, I’m sure they’ll try to hook me up with anything,” he said of the rumours.
The former “The OC” actor went on to praise Valente and his family for their warmth and the way they treated him since meeting them at their Jiu-Jitsu training facility.

“I am very grateful to know all of them, because not only have they helped me and helped my children, but they have become good friends, and Joaquim especially,” he said. “He is our teacher and, most importantly, he is someone I admire and I trust.
