According to reports, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michelle Pfeiffer, Colin Farrell and their co-star, Brendan Gleeson, tested positive for COVID-19 after the awards show.

Just a few days after the Golden Globes are the Critics’ Choice Awards. Pfieffer announced he was leaving the CCA because of the virus.

“I’m so sorry to miss the Critics’ Choice Awards today,” Pfeiffer wrote in an Instagram post. “Yes, Covid.”
Curtis also announced his “time out” from the award show circuit.
“Unfortunately, this cheerleader will not be present at all the weekend festivities cheering on her friends and colleagues. Life follows life’s terms,” he wrote on Instagram.
Curtis added that he was “SO OUT” he couldn’t join the festivities at CCA.

COVID-19 safety protocols and tests have become more relaxed and inconsistent at this year’s awards show, according to Hollywood Reporter.
One actress who is out of control because she is NOT infected with COVID-19 is Jessica Chastain.
The Oscar-winning actress proudly wore a face mask, which matched the fabric of her gown, at the Golden Globes.

The actress was so nervous about getting sick because of her participation in the New York City drama for “A Doll’s House.”
“I was a little nervous about getting sick, but I got my mask. I do both,” she told Laverne Cox during her interview with LIVE from E! “You have to be careful in the theater, because I don’t want to disappoint my actors.”
Chastain also showed off her mask and matching outfit on Instagram.
“When the mask matches the outfit ?,” she captioned the video montage.
Fans of the actress applauded and mocked her for wearing a mask to the red carpet.
Chastain responded to a Twitter user who shared a photo of her masked appearance and wrote, “and you know who didn’t get COVID at the Golden Globes?”
He retweeted the photo with the caption, “Phew!”

Others commented on the tweet, “Thank you. ❤️your leadership,” and “Good luck!”
However, Chastain also bumped elbows with Farrell and Curtis during the awards ceremony.
So, there were some naysayers on social media who mocked him for “barely wearing” his mask.
