Tiffany Gomas finally reveals what caused her viral ‘not real’ American Airlines meltdown

Viral plane passenger Tiffany Gomas finally explained to her “mom wasn’t real” on the American Airlines flight — but clarified she didn’t see aliens, apparitions or otherworldly beings.

The 38-year-old Texas marketing guru discussed the strange July 2 incident during an interview Friday on the Pardon My Take podcast.

“The reason I probably haven’t come out yet is because it’s so horrible,” he said in the studio.

Gomas explained that he had been involved in “a bit of an argument” with another passenger and that “it spiraled out of control.

“It wasn’t my best moment … it was actually a terrible moment. Really embarrassing. How horrible,” he added.

When asked why he uttered the words, which suggested that he saw ghosts or aliens, he said, only: “I really did not see anything … It was a speech expression.”

Gomas said the comments were directed at the man she was arguing with.

“They made me look like a s—t bat … and since, I did, I did look really crazy but, no — I was in my mood, had to let it out, I was so depressed. Doesn’t look good.”

When asked about the dispute, he declined to provide details other than to say he had given up his aisle seat because “as you heard me say, I’m only 5-2, in my brash little voice.”

“There’s a terrible energy and I don’t want to go into all the details in all of that … as you know, it’s ongoing,” Gomas said.

But he added that it would be “cooler” if he actually saw something mysterious.

Gomas said he did not leave his home for four weeks after his ordeal, which saw him kicked off the plane.

He insisted he was justified in delaying the flight for hours.

“I was depressed and I got off the plane, no matter what, I probably shouldn’t have made the scene I made,” he said earlier.

Gomas accused his brother of stealing his AirPods, according to police records reviewed by The Post.

He shouted he was “bringing down” the plane, as he stormed up and down the runway of the Fort Worth-to-Orlando flight.

“You can sit on this plane and you can die with them or not. I will not leave,” the aggressive woman told a fellow passenger.

He then refused to leave the boarding area, assaulted people in the terminal, cursed at the police, and again insisted that the flight would not reach Florida, without elaborating on the threat.

Bodycam footage showed that police thought Gomas was drunk or on drugs, but he was never tested for public intoxication and only verbally cited for criminal trespassing.

Gomas offered an apology for his unexplained remarks in a video first published by TMZ — then posted on social media — in which he also promoted a new website.
