Having been a member of the most famous rock group of all time for only a decade in 58 years, much has been revealed over time about the difficulties Harrison experienced as a member of ‘The Fab Four.’

Last November, The Blast explored some of Harrison’s painful moments as a Beatle.

Beatle fans got a glimpse of Harrison’s feelings through last year’s much-anticipated “Get Back” documentary directed by Peter Jackson. Jackson’s examination of the recording of The Beatles’ 1970 LP, “Let It Be,” which would be their final album, contains several hours of never-before-seen footage.

“Get Back” features footage of Harrison declaring his intentions and desire to leave the band. Jackson took precautions when putting the finishing touches on “Get Back” by referencing Harrison’s son, Dhani, to ensure there were no gray area moments the Harrison family might want to keep secret.

According to our report, Harrison gained some perspective on his late father’s feelings after watching the “Get Back” tapes. He also gave permission to Jackson after watching the footage.

In Mrs. Harrison’s Former Personal Pains

However, her feelings about her marriage left her feeling anything but completely content.

Boyd recently reminisced about her marriage to Harrison in several interviews while promoting her aforementioned photography book.

He didn’t hold back during his interview with The Telegraph, or sitting down with El Pais.

“I don’t miss those times,” Boyd told the latter publication, referring to The Beatles’ meditation experience in India in the late sixties; the group’s desire to combine their shared admiration for India and their collective fascination with spirituality would later become an important chapter in their career.

“It’s living in a bubble, surrounded by famous people, where all doors are open to you,” he continued. “But until today I live a wonderful life…”

Boyd’s life living in a “bubble” doesn’t always feel pretty.

The “Wonderful Today” author summed up her feelings about her marriage to Harrison in her interview with The Telegraph.

Boyd describes their life together, (they were married from 1966 to 1977), as “a ludicrous, painful life.”

Boyd famously left Harrison for his friend, Clapton, and the two would marry two years after her divorce from Harrison.

The difficulties Boyd experienced while marrying two of rock and roll’s most famous figures are now long gone. He cares about making sure he moves forward in life.

“[Being interviewed] not something that scares me,” he continued in an interview with El Pais. “It’s not like I’m at home all day watching television all day, you know? I go to the theatre, I still take pictures, and have a very active social life, so it won’t be a big change.”

Boyd also shared some insights he has learned over the years.

“It’s important to be true to yourself,” he said, “don’t betray yourself, be honest and let people know who you really are. I don’t think anything is as important,” Boyd concluded.
