The pianist went viral after Tuesday night’s Golden Globes after Michelle Yeoh heard the music shuffle her off the stage during her first win and she clapped her hands while saying with a very stern face, “Shut up, please. I can beat you and that’s serious.”
For some reason, one of the cameras panned to Flower and immediately people believed her to be the one disrespecting Yeoh unfortunately, she received a lot of backlash from online trolls who played into producer t’s crafty hands.

“I was hired to play the piano when we came back from the commercial break and re-entered the program. It’s called rejoining,” he explained. “That’s the only time I’m supposed to play, and that’s the only time I play.”
Many of the celebrities receiving awards were played on the night and Flower believes that the production’s choice to point the camera at her was a poor one. “All of a sudden, I was the face of playoff music.”
