While Paige Spiranac has gotten the attention of the internet, she’s also faced unwanted attention from people who don’t respect boundaries. Recently he had to deal with such a person, a fan who was so crazy about him that he became a stalker.
To address the problem, the professional golfer filed a restraining order in a Los Angeles court in June. Now, new court documents have emerged showing he has won his case against the fanatical fan, who was previously known for stalking actress Olivia Wilde.
Paige Spiranac Wins Restraining Order Against Alleged Stalker After Months Of Safety Concerns
According to documents obtained by The Blast, Paige’s obsessed fans have been legally barred from contacting her for the next three years. The case was presided over by Commissioner Laura as “Judge Pro Tem.”
The judge examined a series of evidence, including copies of emails, tweets, and photos of letters, before ruling against the alleged stalker, Eric Fuhns. The document reads:
“After reviewing the moving papers, and after considering the evidence and testimony presented by the parties, the Court rules as follows: The Petitioner’s Request for a Public Nuisance Restraining Order is granted. The Court finds that the Petitioners have borne their burden of proof.”

It went on to state that “The Restraining Order was issued for a period of 3 years, and it will expire on November 1, 2026. Both parties were present at the time the Court made its order. No further notice is required.”
In her initial filing, Paige Spiranac claimed that a 32-year-old man had stalked her and even followed her to tournaments. In court documents, she stated that the stalking allegations had made her “very anxious and afraid.” As the social media influencer wrote:
“Although most of my career involves public appearances, I’m afraid to share my location with fans. I fear for my safety. I am deeply troubled by Mr. Fuhs’ delusional belief that he has communicated with me. I am concerned that without a restraining order, Mr. Fuhs will continue to try to see me, especially when I have to travel to the Los Angeles area for work.”
He also mentioned that he found out that Eric already had an active civil restraining order against him for allegedly stalking Olivia. The director’s restraining order against him is set until May 3, 2024.
In addition, Paige is also worried because she found out that he was charged with assault with a deadly weapon in Los Angeles in December 2022. He is also said to have a history of stalking and violent behavior before.
Olivia Wilde’s Experience With The Same Stalker
As for Olivia’s case against Eric, court documents obtained by The Blast reveal that she filed an emergency request for a restraining order against an unnamed man who targeted her residence and sent threatening letters to her ex-fiancé, Jason Sudeikis.
The 39-year-old described the individual as a stalker who had nothing to do with him. The restraining order requires the man to stay 100 yards away from “House” actor Jason, their home, their two children, and Olivia’s workplace.
In a declaration filed by the New Yorker, he provided details of the alleged harassment to the court. It includes an incident where her alleged stalker gained access to a charity event she attended in October 2020, causing her concern due to his strange behavior.

Then, in February 2021, the alleged stalker called her talent agency, falsely claiming to be her boyfriend and exhibiting aggressive behavior. As a result, Olivia’s talent agency blocked any further contact with her.
The declaration also mentioned an incident on February 19, 2021, when the alleged stalker approached the filmmaker’s home with a note addressed to her man.
In the note, he stated that Olivia had been texting him, looking for a new relationship, and had been talking to him “in secret” almost every day from mid-October to January. The note also strangely mentions that “Harry Styles gets credit for what I do.”
“I don’t know how long [the alleged stalker] has been stalking me, but the fact that he mistakenly believed that he was in a relationship with me scared me and caused me emotional distress. [Olivia] concern that there is no restraining order, [the alleged stalker] will continue to try to contact me and my family, come to my house, and try to do more harm,” the Teen Choice Award winner wrote in the filing.
