Almost a month after her shocking car crash, the rising Chrisley Family star has opened up about her well-being. Sitting down for a heart-to-heart session with her sister, Savannah Chrisley, the teenager opened up about her viral mishap.

Appearing as a special guest on Savannah’s “Unlocked Podcast,” the 16-year-old looked right at home in a long-sleeved white top, black pants, and matching black sneakers. Grayson added a pop of color with a red baseball cap.
From her casual yet stylish ensemble, one would hardly know that the teenager had been involved in a horrific car accident a few weeks ago. If her demeanor didn’t indicate how good she was feeling, the 16-year-old made it clear she was past the healing stage.
“I’m fine, the truck isn’t fine, but I’m fine,” Grayson admitted before adding, “But it’s bad, it’s really bad.” However, the meeting was not as bad as the media made it out to be.
While addressing reports of the accident, the “Chrisley Knows Best” star explained that the situation had been taken out of context. Unfazed by the media’s claims, the 16-year-old said: “They’re making it sound like I’m dead. It was like, ‘Grayson Chrisley was seriously injured in a car accident,’ and I was like, ‘Bro, I’m fine.’ “
According to the TV personality, she posted a photo of herself sweating it out at the gym shortly after the incident and received many messages of concern from fans. In the words of the teenager:
“Do you know how many DMs I get like, ‘Surprised you’re still not in the hospital?’ I was like, ‘I was there for, like, four hours.’”
Although the youngest member of the Chrisley family made her accident look like a minor fender bender, her sister did not downplay the incident. Savannah revealed that when she arrived at the scene, her brother’s truck was badly damaged.
According to The Blast, photos after the accident confirm Savannah’s statement as Grayson’s truck is unrecognizable, given the destruction. The accident destroyed the car’s bumper, windshield and more.
How did the terrible event happen? The incident happened on November 12 around 5:30 pm on I-65 in Nashville. The 16-year-old was driving his Ford F-150 when he crashed into the back of a Dodge pickup truck stopped in traffic.
When police officers arrived at the scene of the collision, Grayson was unable to answer questions about the accident. Suspecting his incoordination was likely due to a concussion, the teenager was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The truck he was riding in was reportedly badly damaged, while the driver of the vehicle sustained injuries as a result of the crash. However, the unnamed individual refused medical treatment.
Both cars had to be towed, given the significant damage. On the bright side, neither party has received any known charges or arrests for the accident. The unfortunate incident occurred shortly before Grayson’s parents were sentenced to prison.

In addition to losing their freedom, couples lose their rights as parents. According to reports, while serving her prison sentence, Savannah will have custody of Grayson and her adopted sister Khloe Chrisley, until their parents return.
