The actor doesn’t seem to want to go down without a fight. Most likely he will take a stand to defend himself. The accident has been described as a “hit and run” on the slopes.
Retired optometrist Terry Sanderson is suing the Goop founder for $3.1 million and launched his initial lawsuit in 2019. He claims he seriously injured him when he skied “out of control” at a resort in Park City, Utah.
He now claims to be dealing with a traumatic brain injury, broken ribs, and a loss of enjoyment in life. However, Paltrow’s lawyers claim that Sanderson has traveled at least three times internationally since the accident; Thailand, the Netherlands, and Central Europe.
They don’t seem to believe that Sanderson is as hurt as he claims and seems to have no shortage of fun in his life.

The former doctor claims he has limited memory of the ordeal because of how hard he was hit on the slopes. Lucky him. Paltrow has a great memory of it.
“Ms. Paltrow clearly remembers what happened. She was enjoying skiing with her family on vacation in Utah when Plaintiff — up the hill from Ms. Paltrow — plowed into her back … Ms. Paltrow became angry with Plaintiff and said so. Plaintiff apologized,” the court documents allege. .
His attorney detailed that Sanderson had long-standing medical problems before he came face-to-face with Paltrow. “In addition to his vision problems, he has 15 other chronic medical problems.” He also underwent brain tests, which all came back without “any deficit in his cognitive function.”
Sanderson was also informed that he was not entitled to seek $3.1 million in damages. the most he could ask for was $300,000, a grand of millions.
Nothing Supports Terry Sanderson’s Claims

The actress’ attorney went on to file charges against Sanderson. “The undisputed facts do not support the allegation that Ms. Paltrow committed a hit and run.” They continued to use Sanderson’s findings against him.
A ski expert of Sanderson’s choosing “concluded that the evidence showed that Defendant Paltrow’s post-collision actions were ‘reasonable under the circumstances'”
Although he insisted that Paltrow did not care after the beating and immediately blamed him, the findings have been proven wrong.
Either way, the jury will be the judge. According to The New York Post, eight jurors and two alternates have been selected, and the trial will take place in Utah’s Third District Court starting Tuesday.
Paltrow is seeking $1 million as part of her countersuit, primarily for her legal fees because she has admitted that her “injury was relatively minor.”
Gwyneth Paltrow Burned

On the other end of the spectrum, Paltrow has come under fire for sharing her very minimal diet with the public. It consisted of bone broth, no sugar, intermittent fasting, and was the thing responsible for his lean body.
Many have their opinions about Paltrow’s diet and why she went public with it. Plus-size model Tess Holliday believes it’s dangerous for her fans who look up to her and begs the actress to stop promoting eating in this way.
