Gwyneth Paltrow’s children have a lot to say about the skiing accident and their mother’s reaction to it during the trial that continues this week.

Although Paltrow’s children were not physically present in court today, (thankfully) their depositions were read in court by a representative and they attested to their mother’s attitude after the accident. Apple Martin admitted that she did not see the accident, she was ahead of her mother at the bottom of the hill.
He did not see all the details of who hit whom but he testified his mother was “shocked” and “hurt” afterwards. “I did hear some commotion, but I was further down, so I decided to continue down to the lodge,” said the deposition.

Paltrow’s first child continued through the statement. “He came in … and I asked what had happened, and he said, ‘This hole hit me. He ran after me.” This is the same statement that Paltrow gave about her reaction to the accident.
Apple remembers her mother “clearly looking distraught” and “shaken”. He was surprised by his mother’s next decision. “He decided after that he wasn’t going to ski all day, which he never did, he always stayed.”

The actor’s son Moses Martin has also read his deposition aloud and he claims he saw Dr. Terry Sanderson skiing with his mother. He insisted that it was Sanderson who caused the accident and the person who bumped into his mother and not the other way around as the doctor claimed.
“I remember skiing with my instructor and briefly seeing the collision. I saw my mother and a person behind her … who had crashed,” he claimed in the deposition.
The 16-year-old stated that her mother was “yelling at the boy.” He remembered something along the lines of what his sister Apple remembered. “He said something along the lines of, ‘What the F word? You just ran into me.'”

The trial is set to continue and there is a strong possibility that Paltrow’s husband, Brad Falchuk, whom she married in 2018, will have to testify. It makes sense because this is supposed to be THE family trip where they all come together to live together and test if they can all be together in one house.
In case anyone wasn’t aware, for the first few years of their marriage, Falchuk and Paltrow lived separately for the comfort of their children from past relationships.

The actor was mocked for his answer last week on the stand. He complained about missing half a day of skiing in Utah where the family vacation took place. He was also called out for rolling his eyes a lot during what he probably believed were questions of fact.
The entire fan following commented the most on Paltrow looking smug after suing Sanderson for $1 and enamored with the next-level idea her attorney brought her.
It gave fans a laugh and even prompted Sanderson’s lawyer to ask Paltrow if she learned the trick from one of her celebrity friends.
