Congresswoman Lauren Boebert’s ex-husband, Jayson Boebert, was recently arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor assault and criminal mischief three days after the former couple got into an alleged physical altercation.
In a new report, it has been revealed that Jayson reportedly got into a fight with one of his sons, which involved him “grabbing a gun.”

Jayson Boebert’s arrest warrant shows he was involved in an argument with his ex-wife on Saturday evening, before he was arrested on assault charges on Tuesday. It has also revealed another incident involving Jayson and one of his sons.
According to reports, a warrant was issued for Jayson’s arrest on Tuesday for allegedly fighting with his son.
Tyler, the 18-year-old son of Lauren and Jayson, reportedly called the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office to report what he claimed was a physical altercation with his father.
The teenager claimed that while her father was at their home, he became enraged because a baby was sleeping in a laundry basket full of clothes. This then leads to a fight between the father and son, where Tyler claims an allegedly angry Jayson put his thumb in his mouth.
According to Tyler, his father, at one point, “grabbed the rifle.” The teenager eventually called his mother, who advised him to call 911. Tyler then told authorities what had happened, and they were able to obtain an arrest warrant for Jayson on charges of third-degree assault, harassment and prohibited use of a weapon. .

The report revealed that law enforcement officers received a phone call about possible “domestic violence” at the Miners Claim restaurant and later got another call from Lauren herself, in which she can be heard saying, “I just touched your nose” and her ex-husband shouted, “He punched me in the face.”
Prior to his arrest, Jayson claimed that he was a victim of “domestic abuse” and stated that he had been punched in the face several times by his ex-wife, a claim Boebert has since denied.
When the police finally showed up, they claimed to have run into the Colorado state representative and her ex-husband outside the Miner’s Claim restaurant in Silt, Colorado. According to comments from Boebert seen in the document, the former couple tried to patch things up when things went south.

Things escalated between the two, with Jayson claiming he was punched by his ex and Lauren insisting that he barely touched her nose. Police allege that while they were trying to get information from them and witnesses, Jayson became unruly and disobeyed orders, allegedly demanding more alcohol and refusing to leave the establishment when asked to do so by management.
According to the report, Jayson had to be “physically escorted off the premises” after resisting. He allegedly tried to prevent police from removing him from the restaurant “by grabbing the door frame.” Neither Jayson nor Lauren were arrested for the day’s events.
Jayson was released on $2,500 bail.
