Gypsy Rose Blanchard finally answered one of fans’ burning questions— why she deleted her Instagram account.
According to the child abuse survivor, she made the decision after having a deep conversation with her father, Rob Blanchard.
Blanchard’s candid confession came after he was released early from a ten-year prison term for murdering his mother, Clauddine ‘Dee Dee’ Blanchard.

Using TikTok to post an extensive series of videos, Blanchard discussed her decision to delete her Instagram account, which had amassed nearly eight million followers. Starting the conversation, he said:
“I do my best to live my authentic life, and what’s real to me and what’s not real is social media. Social media is literally the gateway to h—. It’s so crazy. I can’t wrap my head around what social media is.”
The reality looks very different from what he expected to “enjoy social media like the next person, take selfies and just act stupid,” after his initial release.

Highlighting the moment that caused her to permanently take down her Instagram page, Blanchard explained:
“What happened was that I had a really good conversation with my dad, actually. He gave me some guidance that I felt I really needed. And that guidance was to show me that real life is something you can touch, something you can feel. People you can actually hug.”
Since she did not intend to live her life “under the microscope”, due to the current intense pressure from the audience, Blanchard created another Instagram page, made it private and “got it verified.” Thanks to the action, he “had no problem or hesitation to delete the public action.”
The Louisiana native admitted that while his deletion of a social media account with such a significant following would make people wonder, he can’t “give a— about followers.”
Fans Are Furious Because Blanchard Is Pregnant

While Blanchard may have had enough of letting people into her life through social media, her husband, Ryan Anderson, has no such problem.
As The Blast recently detailed, Anderson used an Instagram post to fuel rumors that they’re expecting their first child together.
In a photo uploaded on February 27, the doting husband rests one hand on his formerly incarcerated wife’s stomach, which can be seen thanks to them pulling up her top a bit.
Anderson added to fans’ suspicions with her caption, which read, “Me and my little family cuddling together.” Predictably, questions and theories about Blanchard expecting a child began to flood the comments section.
“OMG WAIT THERE IS NO F——G WAY SHE’S PREGNANT,” one person declared, while another exclaimed, “Oh my god. You are pregnant. You’re in direct business,” and a third asked, “SHE’S PREGNANT????”
Meanwhile, this fan stated, “A married couple and a pet can be a family. You don’t have to have children to be a family. They never mentioned him and it would be disrespectful to assume that.”

Amidst the curiosity of fans about the new pattern in the Blanchard-Anderson house, it should be remembered that Blanchard herself previously insisted on her position to become a mother.
She revealed that she and Anderson are not yet ready to welcome any children during the official introduction of her pet dog to her fans. The activist shared at the time:
“For now, I just want to get something that we can both have, to take care of and just have as an addition to the family. We’re not ready to have a baby yet, so this is like the next best thing.”
Additionally, Blanchard told her fans to expect “many, many more puppy videos and pictures” in the near future and asked for “potty training tips.”

Although the Louisiana teacher was quick to get a prison recommendation, she faced challenges getting the ring through security at the Chillicothe, Missouri Correctional Center.
Finally, Anderson decided to sneak the engagement ring by hooking it to a necklace, which he used to pop the big question to Blanchard on his third prison visit.
The couple eventually married in prison in July 2022 without any guests at the ceremony.
