There’s something about Halle Berry, or should we say there’s something different about her. And no, not just her hair.
Berry does what she wants, whether it’s her hair, her looks or her life, and fans are ready for it especially as she tackles the difficult discussion about menopause.
An Afro Because Her Man Loves It!

We’ve been seeing curls on Halle Berry for a while now, as she seems to have ditched her usual straight hair for a more natural look. But no one seemed ready for this service, as Berry captioned a stunning photo of herself in an Afro, red and black buffalo check shirt, writing, “Sunday meal…man I love this. Convey all complaints to him.” He also tagged his man, Van Hunt.
The photo seemed to have a soft light filter on it and made Berry look more refined, and fans were disappointed as they wrote her various compliments, such as:
“You can go bald and you’ll always look great, kudos to your man for this look, you wear it well!”
“No complaints, you can wear a trash bag, and still do.”
“It’s impossible for you to go wrong with a hairstyle!”
“That’s what happened, a time-traveler from the past!”
While some of her Instagram followers found it a bit ’70s, others felt it was time for Berry to step up and play Angela Davis. Meanwhile, this is more curls, with daisies in the back!
Halle Berry Experiencing Menopause…

Berry has always been a straight shooter, whether it was her tearful acceptance speech at the Oscars, or now, as she faces what all women face, aka menopause. In a bold new essay written by Halle Berry for Women’s Health magazine, the Oscar winner is clear about one thing, she wants you to forget everything you know about menopause as she insists, “I am strong in my femininity.”
Berry says that at 56, she has more to offer than ever before, but it’s not just about her and her age – she wants women to own whatever station they’re in.
Writes Berry, “The most important thing about owning your sexuality as a woman is accepting the station you have—and embracing it. And I say that because I’m smack dab in the middle of menopause.”
She goes on to say that she doesn’t believe stereotypes about menopause, “I’m challenging everything I thought I knew about menopause. Things like: “Your life is over.” “You’re expendable.” “Society no longer has a place for you.” ” You should retire.” “You should pack it in. I’m challenging all stereotypes about how you have to look a certain way or feel a certain way.
Here’s Halle Berry, with “blank zero to give!”
Halle Berry Feels Her Best At 56!

Berry feels that she is her best self now that she is 56, insisting, “I have a lot to offer. I have another empty blank to give away. I am steadfast in my femininity. I finally realized what I had to say was valuable, even if no one else agreed.”
Although she is mother to daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry, who arrived in March 2008, and son Maceo-Robert Martinez, born five years later, Berry also has advice to give women in their thirties. “If you’re in your mid-thirties, don’t be swayed by the idea that you have to have children at a certain age. You decide. And if you want to have children, you don’t have to be defined by the old ideology that this is what women “should” do. Do it only if you want to, because you are giving up a lot of your personal life to develop that other life.
The essay was well received by his fans, regardless of age and gender. As one male fan wrote, “As a man in his 50s, this still speaks to me. Thank you.”
Another female fan supported him, “I can’t like this anymore! My fifties have been my favorite decade so far! And I’ve never felt more fully myself or more excited about the future. We grow old by our choices.”
However, mostly, fans do not believe that Halle Berry is “fifty to six years old!”
