Halle Berry has reportedly won another court battle in the decade-long child support war against ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry. The “Catwoman” star has been involved with the father of her two children, Nahla Aubry and Maceo Martinez, for years, nearly two decades.

In 2014, the LA Superior court ordered Berry to pay Aubry $16k per month, which he later called “extortion”. In 2021, the actress convinced the court to reduce that figure to $8k per month but also accepted a clause to pay 4.3 percent of her annual income above $1.95 million.

According to Daily Mail, Berry has convinced the court to cap child support payments at $4.5 million. This means the “Frankie & Alice” star is now paying Aubry a maximum of $110k per year, including monthly payments.

The win comes as Berry prepares to release two high-profile film projects this year.

These include “Our Man from Jersey”, an action thriller with Mark Wahlberg, and “The Mothership”, a sci-fi film he made with Netflix. Berry makes an estimated $10 million from each film project, so under the old agreement, he was mandated to give Aubry $860k of his earnings.

Judge Michelle Kazadi stamped the modified agreement on May 17, so Berry’s income is secure. However, the judge also stated to Berry that he owes Aubry approximately $290k of his total earnings from 2022, which he will pay in monthly installments.
