Ben Named Father of ‘Most Incredible Journey’
In July 2021, Ben took to Instagram to share a photo of himself posing with his young son, named in his filing, and his eldest son, Ethan, who is now 23. “Becoming a father has been the most extraordinary journey of my life,” he wrote at the time. “I had to erase what it means to be a father and learn what it means to be a father. “
“My children need someone who takes an active part in their lives. A father who nurtures them. A father who is present in mind, body and soul,” he continued. “They need coordination. They need connection. They need someone who is emotionally available. None of that came naturally to me.”
“I spend a lot of time thinking about what it means to be a father. This means putting my oxygen mask on first while being selfless. They showed me it was never about them and always about me. There is never a day that goes by that I don’t thank my lucky stars for what these boys have brought into my life,” he concluded. “Thank you for being my main teacher. I love you to the ends of the universe and back.”
Harrison Ford’s Son Becomes a Celebrity Chef
Ben did not follow in his father’s footsteps to become an actor. Instead, he became a celebrity chef who was highly recognized for his work. On May 4, 2021, the son of the actor responsible for bringing Han Solo to life in the “Star Wars” universe celebrated Star Wars Day by making a giant Millennium Falcon cake.
Star Wars Day is celebrated every year on May 4 as a play on the phrase “May the Force Be With You” when it became “May the Fourth Be With You.” He posted a photo on Instagram showing celebrity chef Duff Goldman holding the giant culinary creation.
“This pic is from the first time I met @duffgoldman,” Ben wrote in the caption. “One of the things I appreciate about him is that he is an adult who still knows how to laugh and play. His version of the Falcon didn’t fly that day, but it sure tasted good. May the 4th Be With You!”
Many fans celebrate the artwork. “I always wanted a Falcon cake for my birthday as a kid! Nana I tried once. It was a basic sponge cake with orange icing and it was a little shriveled – but at least she tried!” one fan commented, prompting Ben to reply, “Looks like your Nana is very special!”
