The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle, were recently seen attending the premiere of the Bob Marley biopic in Jamaica.
Harry and Meghan looked beautiful and elegant as they posed on the red carpet for pictures with the various dignitaries present at the event. This includes Jamaica’s prime minister, Andrew Holness, who has been described as anti-monarchist because of his stance on Jamaica severing ties with the British monarchy.
Now the royal couple has been accused of “teasing” the royal family by choosing to take pictures with Holness, especially during a period of health challenges for King Charles and Kate Middleton.

According to royal commentators Andrew Pierce and Sarah Vine, Harry and Meghan “upstaged” the royal family with their surprise appearance in the Bob Marley biopic in Jamaica.
The two took to their YouTube show to address Harry and Meghan’s “craziness” surrounding notoriously anti-monarchy Jamaican PM Andrew Holness in the week when the King is expected to undergo a medical procedure to treat his “enlarged prostate.”
On a photo of the couple, Holness, Pierce said, “That same week, the King was going into hospital… he was there making out, making out with one of the most outspoken republican prime ministers in the Caribbean. Someone who also wants to break up the Commonwealth, which is so precious to the Queen. They are tone deaf.”
Vine later claimed, “They are deliberately teasing the Royal Family. Both the Princess of Wales and King Charles are in hospital, and they haven’t said anything.”
He continued, “Usually, they want everyone to know how much they care about people, and they don’t say anything. I think their game plan is going to be self-loathing Royals. They’re going to be ‘We’re part of the Royal Family but we hate it’.”

The Duke of Sussex looked dapper in his navy blue suit and a white button-down shirt underneath. For her part, Meghan looked stunning in her black ensemble. She wore an outfit consisting of a black spaghetti strap top tucked neatly into a voluminous black taffeta skirt.
The Duchess wore her hair in a simple bun and had minimal make-up as usual, emphasizing her natural beauty. She accessorized her look with just a pair of gold disc earrings.
Harry and Meghan’s surprise appearance at the prime minister surprised many, especially due to reports claiming Meghan was unable to attend her husband’s Living Legend of Aviation awards ceremony, which took place just before the trip to Jamaica, because she tended to be “unwell” as a child.
Fan comments on the couple’s attendance were divided, with some praising the couple while others found the vacation questionable.

The Sussexes’ trip to Jamaica comes shortly after it was claimed they had sent their “best wishes” to King Charles and Princess of Wales Kate Middleton amid their current health challenges.
A source told Mirror, “The King and Princess of Wales have received support from Prince Harry and Meghan regarding their health. The Duke and Duchess contacted both parties in different ways to convey their concerns and best wishes.”
The former Royal press secretary, Dick Arbiter, also spoke to the news outlet about his thoughts on Harry and Meghan’s message of support to the King and Princess Kate.

Arbiter said, “It’s good that they recognized his sister-in-law had an obviously serious operation, and his father was going to have it at 75. It is the right thing to do to admit it. I am happy for Catherine and the King.”
He went on to state that it was “unusual and unprecedented” for two royals to be hospitalized at the same time. However, January is the best time as it is not a busy month in the Royal calendar.
When talking about a possible reconciliation between Harry and Meghan and the Royal family, Arbiter said, “Don’t hold your breath.” He added, “The Queen has always wanted the relationship to be rebuilt, but she won’t see it in her lifetime. There are too many other things going on.”
