In the middle of the conversation, “GMA” host Michael Strahan offered his love and condolences to the guest star, prompting her to put her hand over her heart and express her gratitude.
She said in her hoarse voice as she held back tears, “He’s here with me.” Hayden’s interview came before she made her first red carpet appearance since Jensen’s death two weeks earlier.
According to reports, he graced the world premiere of his comeback horror film where he will reprise his role as Kirby Reed from “Scream 4.”
The 33-year-old rocked a black off-the-shoulder mini dress at the AMC Lincoln Square Theater event, with a floor-length black trench coat, matching pantyhose and a scarf around her neck.

The Panettieres Confirm Jansen’s Cause of Death In Long Heartbreaking Statement
Jansen’s death at the age of 28 was a huge blow to the Panettiere family, who released a statement a week later, expressing their grief and revealing the cause of death.
In a lengthy statement the family — father Alan Lee “Skip” Panettiere, mother Lesley Vogel, and sister Hayden — began:
“Jansen’s heart can be seen in his eyes, and his charm in his bright and attractive smile; his soul in his skillful and revealing painting, and the joy of life in his dry wit.”
They expressed their love for the late actor whose “charisma, warmth, compassion for others and creative spirit will live on forever” in their hearts and those he met.
Sharing details of what led to Jansen’s sudden loss of life, the grieving clan confirmed that he died of cardiomegaly. In their words, “Although it offered some relief, the Medical Examiner reported Jansen’s sudden death was due to cardiomegaly (enlarged heart) coupled with aortic valve complications.”
At the end of the heartbreaking message, they thanked those who showed them love and support as they tried to “navigate this unthinkable loss.”
Panettieres also asked for privacy “during this time of mourning” before declaring, “We love you so much, Jansen, and you will be in our hearts forever.”
“Heroes” Alum Brother Was Given Death By Disappointed Girlfriend
At the time of Jansen’s death in his New York City apartment, no cause of death had been determined, but police reportedly confirmed they received a call to his home at 5:30 pm on February 19.
