The head of a watchdog group that identifies acts of antisemitism said he and his team were appalled by the anti-Semitism expressed by so-called pillars of our society – including doctors, nurses and professors.
Liora Rez, a refugee from the Soviet Union, founded StopAntisemitism in 2018 to expose bigoted behavior against Jews and Israel using social media.
Since Hamas terrorists attacked Israel Oct. 7. and killing 1,200 people, reports of alarming anti-Jewish behavior have increased.
“Our antisemitic submissions have increased 1,500% across our website, social media channels and our phone and text lines,” Rez told Fox News Digital.
The group’s X account asks people to identify the perpetrators, then, after a verification process, publishes their names and employers and urges the public to hold them accountable.
Many who have been featured in the campaign have been fired.
“We are creating consequences for those who support hatred and bigotry against the Jewish people and nation,” Rez said. “They have a right to spew hate, and we have a right to focus on it.”

Doctors celebrate the Oct. 7 massacre
Dr. Majd Aburabia, medical director of Beaumont Hospital’s breast care center in Dearborn, Michigan, posted on Facebook the day of the October 7 attack.
She captioned the photo from the musical Oklahoma, “Oh, what a beautiful morning, Oh what a beautiful day! #IFKYK (if you know, you know)” referring to the genocide.
“This is disgusting @CorewellHealth – your Jewish patients deserve to be treated by someone who does not support terrorists who slaughter babies, women and the elderly!” the watchdog group wrote on X. Two weeks later, StopAntisemitism announced that he had been fired.
A surgeon in London suffered a similar fate. Dr. Manoj Sen, formerly of Northwick Park Hospital, was fired after he posted on Facebook in German, “Jews are our misfortune.”

Apple employees and professors
Apple parted ways with three employees after StopAntisemitism exposed their anti-Semitic comments on social media.
Among them is Natasha Dach. “I KNOW WHO YOU REALLY ARE: A MURDERER AND A THIEF,” he wrote. “You sneak into countries, steal people’s lives, jobs, homes, streets…And when people act on it, you call it terrorism.”

Critics call StopAntisemitism a ‘Hate Site’
The group, whose video of students ripping up Israeli hostage posters has gone viral, also has its critics.
Edward Ahmed Mitchell, deputy director for CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) told Fox News Digital that while opposing antisemitism is a “noble goal,” the real purpose of StopAntisemitism is to “use harassment as a tool to silence people.”
He called the group anti-Muslim and said it had a history of going after anyone who showed sympathy for the Palestinians.
“I have no respect for this website,” he said. “I consider it a hate site that inadvertently, sometimes, catches real antisemites, but it’s really dedicated to protecting the Israeli government from legitimate criticism.”
Muslims have also experienced an increase in incidents of extremism since the Israel-Hamas war began. CAIR, a civil rights nonprofit, received 1,283 bias complaints last month.
Tensions continued to rise as the war continued.
More than 11,000 people have died in Gaza since Israel’s invasion and ground bombardment, according to the Hamas-controlled health ministry.
