A horrifying video shows the moment a female postal worker was nearly run over by a heartless thief who robbed a mailbox from a California post office.
The cell phone footage, which has gone viral on Instagram, shows dedicated uniformed US Postal Service workers blocking the path of the bandit’s black getaway car with his body.
Instead of stopping, the driver pushed the federal worker back while he continued to hold onto the hood.
“No, no, no, no, no!” the woman’s male colleague shouted as he ran after the car.
As the black sedan drove past the open security gate at the post office and turned right, the worker crashed hard to the ground.
The woman was seen getting back up as her colleagues rushed to help her.

The brazen robbery happened just before 4pm Tuesday at the post office in Fullerton, where police said a trio of men entered the facility, grabbed a container containing hundreds of letters and took off, station KTLA reported.
The female USPS employee chased and tried to stop the crooks, who nearly took the woman’s life, as seen in a video shot by an onlooker.
Miraculously, the victim only suffered minor injuries.
But the mail thief’s success was short-lived: a police officer who responded to the scene spotted the getaway vehicle in the area and pulled it over.

When police searched the car, they allegedly found the stolen mailbox and arrested the three men inside on charges of robbery, mail theft and assault with a deadly weapon.
“We’re working with our partners at the postal service, their investigators there,” Fullerton Police Department Sgt. Ryan O’Neil told the outlet. “We are working on local charges, and they will be working on possible federal charges.”
Mail theft is a federal crime punishable by up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
“I’ve seen a lot in my career as far as stealing mail,” O’Neil said. “This is the first time I have seen the suspect steal a mailbox from the post office.”
