Heather Rae El Moussa has learned a few lessons from being a mother.
The reality star recently took to social media to inform her many followers about learning to balance what she shares about her life online and what she keeps private. Heather and her husband Tarek El Moussa welcomed their first child together on January 31, 2023, almost two years after tying the knot.

Since welcoming her first child into the world, Heather’s Instagram feed has seen a dip in usage. In short, the “Selling Sunset” star has significantly reduced the amount of content and captions she uploads to social media platforms.
Seemingly aware of the trend herself, the 35-year-old shared insight into why she took the route using a few snaps from some of her favorite moments with her son Tristan Jay. In the pictures, Heather is seen playing with the tot, holding him while beaming, and putting her nose on his cheek.

The last photo in the slide shows the mother of one stunning in a white halter neck gown with a plunging neckline. She smiled with all her teeth as she looked at her husband, who was gesturing towards their son with his hand. Below the charming picture, the Netflix celebrity began:
“Candid motherhood moments >> ? Trying to find a balance in posting and sharing my life with you all while also keeping some things a secret from others. And balance is something I’m often asked about and I think the real answer is I do the best I can think some days are better than others and other days are more chaotic, that’s life.”
Continuing, she revealed that her priorities have changed significantly with Tristan and her family coming first. However, he noted that keeping a schedule as much as he can is important to fit everything in.
To that end, she uses the moments when her toddler sleeps to prioritize tasks such as catching up on work emails, reviewing designs, exercising, eating or focusing on real estate projects. Heather explained further:
“In the past it was easier to share everything I did on social media but now I think most of me like to stay in my happy bubble and focus my energy on the things I express like filming, my health, skin care, our flip and our family.”
She concluded by stating that while “balance is not easy these days,” doing “something every day to bring health, happiness and peace into my life is my advice to anyone who feels something similar.”

In her caption, the real estate agent revealed her next story, teasing, “If only you knew what we went through for this photo! ??☀️?.” He expressed his gratitude to “@tableandeve” for the charming setup and jokingly apologized for the unexpected wave participation.
