Heather Rae Young’s battle with sciatica is finally taking a back seat!
Since she announced her pregnancy last July, the reality star hasn’t stopped sharing some of her related experiences with her three million followers and other moms-to-be. One such experience was the sciatic nerve pain she began experiencing just before her first wedding anniversary with Tarek El Moussa. Although he has gone through various pains and emotions since then, it seems that his problems are over.

Heather has had a less than festive holiday due to “unbearable” pain amid her battle with sciatica. In a baby update at the time, the former Playboy model told her followers:
“It was unbearable, and at this point, I was peeing like five to six times last night, so I rolled out of bed, screaming in pain.”
The severity of the condition led to his doctor placing him in bed, along with a heating pad – a move that may have helped him recover. Taking to her Instagram Story to share some good news ahead of her son’s arrival, Heather shared a video of her walking her dog — a black Pug named Bugz — down the street. Speaking off camera, the 35-year-old began:
“Update: my sciatica is back. I just started walking Bugz again yesterday. I haven’t exercised or walked in a while. So, I’m slow.”
She added that she was “trying to walk every day” until the baby – whose gender was announced as a boy last year – arrived this month. Throughout the 18-second clip, the “Selling Sunset” star lists the tips that helped her, and they are:
“Rest as much as I can, physical therapy 2 times a week, acupuncture 2 times a week,” and alternating ice and heat.
While this news will cheer the hearts of his supporters, we can only hope that the sciatica will stay this way following his previous announcement that it is “almost gone.”
Fans will recall that The Blast previously reported that Heather gave an update where she told fans that the pain was gone. At the time, the mother-to-be had used the opportunity to be on the road to film herself in a moving car.
The social media influencer began by greeting her audience before voicing her hopes that their Thanksgiving holiday goes well. She then released her “little Monday update”, revealing that she had gone to see her doctor, who carried out a general check-up, including measuring her baby’s weight and bump.
After stating that she won’t have an ultrasound for the next two weeks, Heather says she’s going to the gym to do some cardio. Once she got over it, the “Love in a Time Machine” actress talked about her sciatic pain, claiming it was “almost gone.”

Although somewhat relieved, she plans to continue her physical therapy session, ending with an update on her and Tarek’s work schedule. Heather noted she and the real estate investor have several “movie interviews” lined up while they film their upcoming reality show, “The Flipping El Moussas.”
The stepmother to Tarek’s other children — Taylor and Brayden — packed the outfit of the day, which was a purple sleeveless high-neck blouse paired with crocs and sweatpants.
